The purpose of the Native American Educational Trust (NAET) shall be to seek funding and services which allow for the creation, production, preservation of and distribution of materials in print, audio, broadcast and video formats for educational purposes on the American Indian populations of North America. The object of this entity, is to acquire and administer funds and property which, after the payment of necessary expenses, shall be devoted exclusively to charitable and educational purposes. The Board of Directors of NAET, as part of this projects intent, propose that NAET undertake a public program of education, outreach and response on behalf of the Ray Robinson and Pictou families with the consent of the families and naming them as, after consultation with them, the primary beneficiaries. NAET, is a registered non-profit corporation in the State of Wisconsin under Chapter 181 - Non-stock/Non-profit Corporations, and is recognized with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501c3. All donations are tax deductible. All donations requiring a return receipt should be requested. Your Tax Deductible Donation will help procure legal assistance, and allow for public advocacy on behalf of the families of Anna Mae Pictou-Aquash and Ray Robinson. This fund is established independently of either family and does not speak for them, but the fund is supported with their consent, and consultation with both families will occur for all funds raised.
